AJ and JJ Come to Town
Utah Prep stand outs A.J. Dybansta (6’9” Brockton, MA, Utah Prep) and J.J. Mandaquit (6’1” Honolulu, HI, Utah Prep) took their official visits to campus this weekend. On the sideline of the football game they met Steve Young and Puka Nucua and were treated to chants of “We want AJ” from the student section. No word on JJ’s thoughts on the chants. The two were teammates on the USA U17 World Cup Gold Medal team this summer, will they be teammates at BYU? BYU is the only school still left on each player’s list. We likely won’t find out for a while as Mandaquit has mentioned deciding over the winter break and Dybansta has set February as his target for deciding.
